State-Of-The-Art Chiropractic services in Downtown Dallas TX

  • Spinal Manipulation: Chiropractic helps to remove postural imbalances and structural misalignments that can accumulate in our bodies over time. Chiropractic works by restoring your own inborn ability to be healthy. For your body to remain healthy, your nervous system must function well. For your nervous system to function well it must be free of interference. By restoring spinal function with Chiropractic adjustments, nerve interference by misaligned vertebrae is removed, thus allowing optimal nervous system function and improved health.
  • Digital X-Ray Onsite
  • Extremity Manipulation: Dr. Fowler can actually provide adjustments to your knees, ankles, hips, wrists, fingers, elbows, and shoulders
  • Myofascial Release: Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a low load (gentle pressure) applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate. Each Myofascial Release Treatment session is performed directly on the skin without oils, creams, or machinery. This enables the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate the release of the fascia.
  • Muscle Stimulation Therapy: During this chiropractic therapy, electrodes are placed on the skin that sends light electrical pulses to different areas of the body with the purpose of reducing inflammation, curtailing muscle spasms, and relieving back pain.
  • Heat/Cryotherapy: (Heat and cold). Chiropractors may alternate between heat and ice therapy to help patients recover from back pain. Ice packs may be used to numb the back for a 10 to 15-minute period and then switched with a heating pad, heat wrap, or hot water bottle to restore blood flow to the area and promote faster healing.
  • Ultrasound Therapy: With ultrasound, sound waves create deep heat therapy that is applied to the soft tissues and joints. Basically micro-massaging the soft tissues and joints, ultrasound therapy can not only help reduce back pain, stiffness, and spasms but also increase blood flow and accelerate the healing process.
  • PNF Professional Stretching: Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is a more advanced form of flexibility training that involves both the stretching and contraction of the muscle group being targeted. PNF stretching was originally developed as a form of rehabilitation, and to that effect, it is very effective. It is also excellent for targeting specific muscle groups, and as well as increasing flexibility, it also improves muscular strength.
  • Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization: Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation or Simply IASTM is a new range of tools that enables clinicians to efficiently locate and care for individuals diagnosed with soft tissue dysfunction. IASTM is performed with ergonomically designed instruments that detect and help fascial restrictions, encourage rapid localization, and effectively help areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis, chronic inflammation, or degeneration.
